UCAN BRAKE MOTOR : BA SERIES
‧BA SERIES : Frame number 71~160 （0.37KW~15KW ), Employs AC magnetic brake coil.
‧MANUAL RELEASE : Once power is shut off, brake can be released manually. Also, the motor output shaft
can be rotated for machine adjustment.
‧BRAKE LINING : The brake lining and the motor shaft is a close fitting, allowing for minimum vibrating
clearance during braking.
‧The brake lining is manufactured from high quality material, that features high friction-coefficient and long
service life. Adjustment is made after 1,000,000 times of braking motions.
‧PROTECTION CLASS : IP54 Protection class provides dust-proof, water-proof and oil-proof.
‧INSULATION CLASS : The magnetic coil of the brake is manufactured from H class insulating material to
resist high temperature up to 180℃.
‧The motor is designed with F-class insulation and B-class temperature growth that resists high
temperature up to 155℃.
‧Meet the EC international standards for high interchangeability.
‧Available to use together with a frequency inverter, however the power for the motor and the brake should be
supplied separately AISO, available to provide double output shafts, forced cooling fan and encoder.
